Double Tree by Hilton is 10 story boutique Hotel in the inner-city entertainment area of Northbridge Perth. It was constructed mostly in modules off site and craned into position.
The insulation and cladding works ran for 2 years, and mainly involved pipework insulation for typical hotel FCUs. This was supplied by a substantial outdoor chiller and boiler plant requiring sheet metal sheathing, of which Total Insulation was able to demonstrate its first-rate technical abilities.
DoubleTree presented challenges in navigating ceiling space constraints, as is commonly the case with hotel rooms. As a result – scheduling, planning, and communicating with the mechanical contractor, electricians and plasterers was key to maintaining adequate productivity.
