Who we are

This website is run by Total Insulation (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 40 685 276 626), trading as Total Insulation Australia. In this policy, "we" means Total Insulation.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, email us or call us, we collect what you give us: usually your name, company, email address, phone number, the details of your project and any drawings or files you send. If you ask about work with us, we also keep what you tell us about your experience and tickets.

How we use it

We use your details to answer your enquiry, price and run your job, talk to you about work, and keep records we are required to keep. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

Who we share it with

We share details only when we need to: with our own staff, with the builders and contractors on a project you have asked us to price or work on, and with the services that run this website and our email. We do not send your details overseas except where those services store data outside Australia.

Website statistics and cookies

We use Google Analytics and Burst Statistics to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can improve the site. They use cookies or similar technology and do not tell us who you are. The contact form is checked for spam by Akismet, and the maps on this site are from Google Maps. You can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work.

Keeping your details safe

We keep your details in our email and business systems with access limited to the staff who need them, and we delete what we no longer need.

Seeing or correcting your details

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected] or calling 0413 867 256. We will answer within 30 days.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, contact us first at [email protected]. If we cannot sort it out, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
